When it comes to the success of Fagan Door, luck had nothing to do with it.

Our founders, William and Susan Fagan, better known around town as Bill and Sue, invested their life savings to start the business in 1975. Sleeping on door sections next to a tiny wood stove filled with trees they cut themselves from job sites was only part of the sacrifice they made to get the business up and running. Hard work and determination was the reason that Fagan Door became the most trusted name in the garage door industry here in Southern New England.

More than four decades later we remain family owned, following the same principles of an honest day's work. When you call Fagan Door, chances are that you are speaking with a member of the Fagan family! We treat our customers the same way that we want to be treated, giving attention to the smallest of details and listening to suggestions and criticisms.

With each criticism comes an opportunity to improve the way we do business, and we take our business seriously. That's why we took the time to be tested and accredited with the IDA and the IDEA, and we were the first in our local market to do it. Our technicians were the first in the state to be certified, and our training is ongoing.
