Garage Door Safety.
We all take our garage doors for granted. We expect them to open when we press the remote, and we expect them to close when we press the wall station inside the garage.
The fact of the matter is that your garage door is the largest moving object in your home which needs periodic inspection and maintenance to keep it safe. Can you imagine driving your car for over a year without changing the oil? Think about your garage door the same way.
Springs, cables, rollers, pulleys and other door hardware are under extremely high tension. If they show signs of wear, it's important to have them repaired or replaced by an accredited technician.
It's not a question IF the components will break, but WHEN.
It is also important that children not play near moving doors and that they keep their hands and fingers clear of section joints, hinges, springs, and other door parts. Garage door wall stations and transmitters should be kept out of the reach of small children.
We'd like to help you keep your family safe this summer by presenting a special offer for a garage door tune up for just $49.00*
*parts needed extra
I wish you and your families a fun and safe summer.
All the Best,
"The large spring for one of the garage doors let go. After we got over the shock that this could happen, and the very scary realization that someone could have been seriously injured or killed, calls were made to try to get this repaired. I was unable to reach the company that installed the doors seven years ago, but luckily I was able to reach your company. This note is really just to thank you for the professional manner in which the entire repair was handled. I was very impressed with all of the people I spoke with and the repair man.
If you could get people to listen that this type of thing can happen before it happens - that would be GREAT! Our friends will be warned and told to call you. I have been in and around construction all my life and never heard of such a possibility. It is truly a heart stopper. "
Sincerely, Marion Xenides Narragansett, RI
