Matt Light Meet & Greet

The Matt Light Meet and Greet was a great success!

The three-time world champion and pro-bowl football player very modestly welcomed over a hundred loyal football fans at the luncheon, which took place at Nino's in Coventry last Tuesday, October 16, 2007, overlooking Lake Tiogue.

During the luncheon, Matt signed all kinds of football memorabilia, from hats and shirts, to photos and pennants. The most unusual item was the New England team logo, constructed from plywood, painted red, white, and blue - measuring six feet across and two feet tall!

When thanked for his personal appearance by Bill Fagan, Fagan Door's founder and owner, Matt responded "Thank you for the opportunity to work with such a great company and such a great group of people."

Not only is Matt Light a great football player, but he also gives time and financial support to disadvantaged youth in Ohio, his home state, as well as in these New England states.

"The Light Foundation strives to empower young people to reach their highest potential by initiating and supporting hands on programs and events that promote the development of secular moral values and personal financial acumen so as to instill a sense of self-reliance, sufficiency and independence. We endeavor to accomplish this mission by combining traditional outdoor activities and experiences with athletic endeavors addressing the physical and mental aspects of humanity that make us all unique."
